On Thursday 6 April 2017 Senior Manager, Lisa Oliver, hosted a cloud accountancy workshop with Fastershire.
The free Faster Farmers workshop gave a tour around the cloud based accounting package Xero and other accounting packages.
Cloud accounting packages allow people to choose the level of input you require from an accountant and ensure they have complete control on the everyday running of their business, with real time information being available from any device. Automation of processes will save time and mean focus can be shifted on to other areas of the business.
The session covered:
- Invoicing including sales, purchases, Hire purchase agreements, Contras and part exchange
- Bank including importing of bank statements, bank reconciliation, management of petty cash
- Reporting including VAT returns, invoice templates, financial settings, custom reports, journals, fuel scale charge, posting wages
