HLB, the global advisory and accountancy network hosted their annual audit and tax conference in Frankfurt, Germany, this week. The conference covered ‘How to inspire leaders in a multigenerational world’, recognising the challenges today’s leaders face when working in a new environment, which includes artificial intelligence, new technology and advisory and talent development.
Member firms of HLB attended a variety of talks provided by guest speakers:
• Dr Johannes Beerman, Executive Board of the Deutsche Bundesbank, presented on economic developments in the European Union;
• Gary Figgins, Commercial Director of Cloudplay, highlighted the issues of international payroll; and
• Jamie Frieman, Rutgers, looked at emerging technologies in accounting.
