We have been made aware that people are experiencing fraudulent calls claiming to come from HM Revenue and Customs. The caller claims to be notifying on policy changes regarding VAT payments that need to be paid earlier than the registered deadline.
Official deadlines and payments
The registered deadline for June VAT returns is Tuesday 7 August 2018; non direct debits are due by this date but direct debits will be collected on the 10 August. For further useful deadline dates, please refer to our official tax calendar. Please contact us if you need to discuss this further.
