Hazlewoods, the Gloucestershire-based accountants and business advisers, have become finalists for a prestigious national accountancy award.
The firm has been named as one of eight practices shortlisted for the Top 50 Tax Team of the Year Award in the British Accountancy Awards 2015.
Nick Haines, partner and head of Hazlewoods tax team said: “I am delighted that the Hazlewoods’ Tax Team have been shortlisted for the Top 50 Tax Team Award.
“It’s the second time this year that we have been shortlisted for an award, which is a fantastic achievement and recognition of the great work the team consistently produces.”
Last year Hazlewoods were one of the six finalists in the LexisNexis 2015 Taxation Awards. Then Hazlewoods joined the final line-up in the hard-fought category for the Tax Practice in a Regional Firm Award.
This latest accolade gives further national recognition of Hazlewoods work. The British Accountancy Awards are now in their fifth year and involve accountancy practices from all over the UK.
A spokesperson for the Awards said: “The 2014 Awards attracted more than 600 guests from practices all over the country including small local firms to the larger regional, national and global players.
“Our criteria has been designed to pinpoint professional development and to highlight those that have demonstrated excellence in their profession during the last 12 months.”
The Hazlewoods team will now attend the British Accountancy Awards 2015 presentation evening at The Brewery, London on November 24 when the winners will be announced.
