Stephen Peters, who has extensive experience in business recovery, has recently been appointed to head Hazlewoods insolvency office in Exeter.

Kate Parsons-Mason, who is also of Hazlewoods business recovery and insolvency team in Devon, said she was delighted with the appointment.

“Stephen is very widely known and well respected in the field of insolvency and we are fortunate to have his experience and skill set on our team,” she said.

Stephen has worked in business recovery in the South West for 30 years, formerly with Ernst & Young and latterly with Francis Clark. He is a fellow of NARA, the professional Association of Property and Fixed Charge Receivers and a member of the Insolvency Practitioners Association.

“Stephen has experience of all aspects of business recovery and insolvency from personal, including bankruptcies and Individual Voluntary Arrangements, to partnerships and limited companies,” said Kate Parsons-Mason.

“His main role within Hazlewoods is to promote the business recovery and specialist insolvency Exeter office.”

In his spare time Stephen enjoys playing golf and watching cricket both locally and at Somerset Cricket Club. He is also a keen follower of rugby and supports Exeter Chiefs.
