Budget Highlights

The Chancellor, George Osborne, has today made his 2012 Budget Statement.

The Chancellor used the speech to update Parliament and the nation on the state of the economy, on the public finances and on progress against the coalition Government's economic objectives.

Mr Osborne outlined proposed tax changes and spending decisions and responded to the latest reports from the Office of Tax Simplification.
