Hazlewoods advises on the sale of Branas Isaf to major corporate provider

Published: Thursday 26 August 2010

Hazlewoods Corporate Finance, a leading adviser in the Health and Social Care sector with a significant track record on acquisitions, disposals and raising finance, has recently advised on the sale of Branas Isaf to a major corporate provider. The Hazlewoods team comprised Norman Webber, John Lucas and Mark Tibbert.

Branas Isaf, based in North Wales and North West England, provides local authorities in all regions with niche residential services, therapy, education and activities for young males.

The vendors were Claire Murphy and Fiona Dalton who commented “Hazlewood's support through the process of sale was considerable and unstinting. Each member of the Hazlewoods team provided advice and explanation with clarity and in an exemplary professional fashion no matter how dull and pedestrian or complex the questions which arose - they are to be highly commended.”

John Lucas of Hazlewoods Corporate Finance noted, “Branas Isaf, which is highly rated by CSSIW, Estyn and Ofsted, is extremely well regarded by social care professionals who require safe, secure and therapeutic placements for young men with specialised behaviours. We were pleased to be able to assist Claire and Fiona in the sale of their business to a large corporate provider with a range of services who will maintain the high standards for which Branas Isaf is known.”

Legal services were provided by Harrison Clark.
