Malvern Achievement Services Limited, operating as Crown House, provides residential family assessment from its base in Great Malvern to local authorities from all regions.
The vendors were Mike Kearney and Sandra Reynolds. Mike Kearney commented, “Hazlewoods' involvement with us was wide-ranging: initially, we were given careful advice about how best to present our specialist business to the market, and then, much later in the process, when the time demands on us were considerable, we received invaluable guidance on what proved to be key aspects of strategy, taxation, and the mechanics of the transaction. Quite simply, I really wonder just how far we would have been able to progress, had it not been for the Hazlewoods' team's expertise and continual support."
Heather Laffin, Chief Executive, Keys Group, explains the importance of the acquisition to the company’s strategic growth, “The acquisition of Crown House was a proactive decision to reinforce our passion and focus to delivering positive outcomes for children and their families. It is an important development for our business as it helps us deliver positive outcomes to even younger children and make a real difference to their future wellbeing.”
John Lucas of Hazlewoods Corporate Finance noted, “Crown House, rated excellent by Ofsted, is extremely well regarded by social care professionals who require detailed assessments of families coping with young children. We were pleased to be able to assist Mike and Sandra in their plans to sell their business to a reputable group who will maintain the high standards which Crown House is known for”.
