| We are delighted to announce that Hazlewoods Transaction Support team has been awarded Due Diligence Specialist of the Year 2012 at the M&A Awards. Over 350 guests attended the awards ceremony, hosted by BBC anchorwoman Naga Munchetty, at the Millennium Hotel in Grosvenor Square on 31 May.
The M&A Awards celebrate the achievements of management teams, advisers and financiers who, over the past 12 months, have surmounted extraordinary market conditions to demonstrate their deal making excellence. This event brings together the very best entrepreneurs, management teams, advisers and financiers.
The judges were looking for a firm that consistently provides quality advice on complex M&A transactions with a strong record of assessing financial, commercial, regulatory and technological criteria for UK and cross-border M&A deals.
In their comments, the judging panel noted that “the firm has attracted particular praise for supporting its clients throughout the entire transaction process, from pre-evaluation through to completion and post-deal support.” David Main, receiving the award said: “We are delighted to win Due Diligence Specialist of the Year, which is true testament to the skill and experience of our team. In total we completed 66 deals valued at nearly £400 million in 2011, a fantastic effort in an ever-changing marketplace.”
Richard Dade, also receiving the award commented: “We are thrilled to have been awarded this national accolade for a second time, having previously won in 2009.
