An Innovation Voucher, issued by Universities South West, provides funding for your business to work with an external expert from a University, College or Public Sector Research Establishment for the first time, gaining new knowledge to help your business innovate, develop and grow.
Key points to be aware of: - The Innovation Vouchers provide up to 40% funding for projects with a total cost from £3,000 to £10,000. They can be used to buy in external expertise to develop ideas and improve performance
- The scheme is open to small and medium sized companies located in the South West England Competitiveness Area (not Cornwall)
- The idea to be developed should be innovative and require expert input from the ‘knowledge base’ that is not readily available in the private sector
- Applications can be made any time up to early 2015
