With Hazlewoods for over 15 years, Nick followed qualification as a Chartered Accountant by moving into tax and becoming a qualified tax advisor in 2000.
On the tax side, Nick’s speciality is corporate and property tax, dealing with corporate reconstructions, advice on acquisitions, disposals and due diligence assignments as well as being the firm’s Stamp Duty Land Tax specialist.
In his career Nick has secured significant tax savings for clients, both corporate and personal, through efficient structuring and the use of more complicated tax planning techniques.
Nick also heads our property agent team, advising many clients in the property sector. Nick understands the issues facing Estate and Letting Agents and has overseen the design of a benchmarking programme, enabling Agents to compare their results on an anonymous basis. Nick is an affiliate member of NAEA.
