Tom is a tax partner in our Cheltenham office. A barrister and chartered tax adviser, he has nearly twenty years experience of providing tax advice to a wide variety of clients “everything from scallop farmers to the Bolivian government”.
He is passionate about the advanced engineering and manufacturing sectors, where his knowledge of R&D tax credits and intellectual property tax can be put to good use, he has particular experience in motorsport having advised high performance engineering businesses including Brawn GP, Team Lotus, Virgin Formula 1 and Xtrac.
Tom is also recognised as expert in the field of corporate transactions and has acted for both buyers and sellers in numerous acquisitions, sales, flotations and buyouts.
