After joining Hazlewoods from university in 1997 and qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 2000, Martin has spent much of his career working with corporate clients, providing advice in the areas of audit, corporate tax, management accounting and general business. He has worked on a wide variety of clients in many different industries including manufacturing, tourism, construction, distribution and the charity and not-for-profit sector.
Martin specialises in providing advice on auditing and financial reporting matters as well as having experience in the financial reporting requirements of listed companies. Martin was appointed as the firm’s Technical Partner in 2010,
Martin is a keen footballer and an avid follower of Sheffield Wednesday FC (well somebody has to be). With two young children spare time is at a premium, but when allowed Martin also enjoys hill walking, reading and music.
