Caring for Communities and People - BigSleepOut

Published: Tuesday 28 August 2018

Ruth Dooley, Tax Partner, will be taking part in the CCP Big SleepOut on Wednesday 10 October. Caring for Communities and People is a charity that has been working to help prevent homelessness, whilst strengthening families and promoting independence since 1989.

One hundred business leaders from Gloucestershire have been asked to take part, to find out first-hand the issues that rough sleepers in the county are facing, whilst helping raise money to help to overcome these problems.

The event is being held in the shed at Gloucester Rugby Club, where all those taking part will face the challenges that rough sleepers encounter. All participants have been asked to raise £1,000 which will go towards accommodation for homeless young people and to help work with families to prevent homelessness in the local community.
