Hazlewoods Farms and Estates Centenary Challenge

Published: Wednesday 19 June 2019

As part of Hazlewoods centenary celebrations, all employees are rising to the challenge to raise an outstanding £100,000 for the cancer support charity Maggie’s, which provides practical, emotional and social support to people with cancer and their family and friends.

Across the firm there is a wide variety of activities planned throughout the year and, on Tuesday 25 June 2019, the Farms and Estates and Personal Tax teams have set the target of visiting 100 Farms and Estates clients located across the Three Counties in one day by foot, bicycle, horse and vintage tractor! The challenge will see cycling teams covering up to 100 miles across the region, walking teams up to 20 miles and the trusty (hopefully) vintage tractor covering the northern edge of the Cotswolds.

The team has been preparing for the challenge for many weeks and everyone involved is a mixture of excited and nervous for what lies ahead. Each cyclist and walker will be travelling at least twice as far as anything else they have tackled this year.

If you would like to show your support for the team and Maggie’s you can donate on their JustGiving page here. If you would like more information on how you can get involved in the day or any of our other fundraising activities, please contact marketing@hazlewoods.co.uk.

In order to stay up to date with their progress and send them messages of good luck, the team’s progress will be tracked by adding the locations visited and photos taken to Twitter, LinkedIn profiles and the Hazlewoods website throughout the day.
