Hazlewoods advise on the sale of Newspace Containers Limited to GCH Capital Limited

Newspace specialise in the manufacture of Portable Anti Vandal Accommodation Units and Storage Containers. With over 30 years of experience, Newspace is recognised as being the industry leader, supplying a wide range of standard and bespoke products from standalone units to a multi-linked complex. Newspace operates from a large multi-acre site in Lydney, Gloucestershire, with a workforce of approximately 140.

GCH Capital is a privately owned and personally financed group of companies. Since the group was founded in 2010, it has acquired nine industrial manufacturing and distribution businesses, supplying and servicing customers in the UK and Europe. The group has sales of around £120m turnover and employs around 730 people.

Hazlewoods are ranked 31st in the UK (2016 Accountancy Age) and have a specialist Corporate Finance team who in 2016 successfully completed 119 deals valued at £512 million. The Corporate Finance team provide a range of services, including Merger & Acquisitions, due diligence, business valuations and equity market admissions. 

Hazlewoods was the sole corporate finance adviser on the sale, advising on all aspects of the transaction from preparation to negotiation and transaction execution.
