Today, Joe Page, Senior Tax Associate, and family are walking a total of 125 miles from Lynmouth in Devon to Haresfield Beacon in memory of their loving mum. Saturday 25 August would have been Jane’s 56th Birthday, but she sadly lost her 10 month battle with cancer.
The family will be raising money for both Charlie’s Cancer Support and Sue Ryder to show how grateful they are for everything they did. Jane was comforted every step of the way by Charlie’s Cancer Support group, and the group has continued to be a support in times of need for family and friends.
The walk starts from Lynmouth, and finishes at Haresfield Beacon, a favourite place of Jane’s, where she loved walking her dogs. The family have commissioned a memorial bench at her favourite view point overlooking Standish woods.
