The Growth Hub has announced the upcoming release of the COVID-19 digital recovery grants (CDRG) made available via GFirstLEP and local authorities, for Gloucestershire SMEs that traded pre COVID-19.
With the past year fast-tracking virtual and digital transformation for businesses, and digital activity more prominent than ever before, now is a good time for SME business owners to put innovative plans in place and look to invest in digital initiatives to help them get back on track.
From website improvements and new software, to the launch of online campaigns, the grants of up to £3,000 aim to support these new digital recovery projects.
Alex Cottrell, Manager at The Growth Hub, said: “We know that for all of the pivoting, training, and upskilling – there are some holes that only cash can fill. And many of the best examples of innovation and growth we’ve seen have come through digital activities.
"That’s why we’ve released these funds. £3,000 will go a long way in the digital world and has the potential to have a much greater impact on business recovery than other spending.
"We encourage any local business, which was trading before COVID-19 and has been affected to apply.”
Applications for the CDRG open 10.00am, Thursday 1 July 2021 and close Thursday 15 July 2021. For full information regarding the grants and to access the submission portal, click here.
