Hazlewoods acquires Bristol Insolvency practice

Published: Wednesday 14 December 2011

Hazlewoods are pleased to announce the acquisition of the business of Bristol based Insolvency practice Rogers Evans (formerly J W Lewis).

The acquisition further expands our highly successful insolvency division following the opening of a North Devon office in September, and the recent recruitment of Ross Parry from PWC, a well respected insolvency specialist.

Vic Ellaby, Chartered Accountant and Licensed Insolvency Practitioner, has been appointed, as a director, to manage the new Bristol office as an appointment taker. He had been with Roger Evans for four years and prior to that had over 20 years experience in major accountancy practices. He has been involved in all types of corporate and personal insolvency.

Peter Frost, Partner of Hazlewoods, said:

“We are absolutely delighted to welcome Vic Ellaby into Hazlewoods. He is well established and respected in the Bristol accountancy market. It is an exciting acquisition for both parties, together with recruitment of Ross Parry, we continue to expand our Business Recovery and Insolvency service line.”
