With so many businesses now adapting to working from home, and many not making the return to the office despite an easing of lockdown restrictions, many are discovering the power of online accounting systems either for the first time, or are starting to understand the range of functionality they provide in more detail.
Software providers are continuously making changes to provide users with a greater experience. From Wednesday 27 May a new bill payments experience will be available to users of Xero.
The new payments interface offers:
- a programme that is easier to view and more intuitive;
- he ability to onboard with payment partner, TransferWise, without leaving the payments flow;
- the choice of multiple payment methods; and
- an alert to potential errors before a payment is processed.
The new interface simplifies batch payments and retains the functionality for downloading batch payment files for bills.
