Could you share in the £8.4m available for infrastructure in Gloucestershire?

Published: Wednesday 1 August 2012

The Gloucestershire Infrastructure Investment Fund (GIIF) has been created to kick start growth locally and encourage new jobs and investment.

The fund will provide interest free loans to both the public and private sector to invest in key pieces of infrastructure. This includes ongoing projects that have stalled because of financial problems.

The fund is being managed by the Gloucestershire Local Enterprise Partnership (“LEP”), who is in close contact with Gloucestershire County Council. The LEP will select the first batch of suitable applicants at its meeting in mid August and the first funding is likely to be awarded in October 2012. Funding for specific projects will be agreed on a case by case basis and there will be an administration fee.

To ensure you don’t miss out on this opportunity you need to submit an expression of interest form. The form and further details, such as the qualifying criteria, are available at: http://www.gloslep.co.uk/gloucestershire-infrastructure-investment-fund.
