Hazlewoods Corporate Finance team has recently advised local motor group, Baylis (Gloucester) Limited (“Baylis” or “Baylis Vauxhall”), on its acquisition of Southern (Merthyr) Limited (“Southern Merthyr”).
Baylis specialises in the business of new and used Vauxhall vehicles at their dealerships across Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and Worcestershire. It is renowned for a dedication to excellent customer service, supplying vehicles to motorists across a wide geographical area. Baylis is also a well-respected local employer and is rooted in supporting the communities it serves.
As one of the largest independently managed Vauxhall groups in the UK, they are building on their distribution locations and branching out into Wales, through the acquisition of Southern Vauxhall based in Merthyr Tydfil.
Customers will now have access to a much wider choice of used cars available from stock, as well as a greater range of facilities, including accident repairs and an increased variety of parts and accessories.
