Hazlewoods advise Just Learning Malling Limited on its acquisition of NuNu Plc

Andrew Brookes and John Lucas of Hazlewoods LLP Corporate Finance Healthcare Team advised Just Learning Malling Limited (“Just Learning”) on their acquisition of NuNu Plc in an £11 million transaction.  Just Learning are a major day nursery provider backed by private equity house Alchemy Partners.  The acquisition of NuNu Plc which operates 11 nurseries in the UK is part of a development and growth plan for Just Learning. 

Hazlewoods acted as financial adviser to Just Learning under the requirements of the Takeover Code. 

Hazlewoods knowledge of the Children’s Day Nursery Market and the City Code meant they were able to add value to the process.  Given their knowledge of both the health and social care sector and the regulations related to listed, and unlisted, plc transactions, the team are a real alternative to larger firms.
