We are proud to announce that the Hazlewoods Corporate Finance team has been shortlisted in two categories in this year’s Insider South West dealmakers awards.
The team are up against some strong competition in their third year of being shortlisted for the ‘Corporate Finance Advisory Team of the Year’ category, having received a ‘highly commended’ recognition in 2019.
The team has also been shortlisted in the ‘Small deal of the year’ category for their involvement in the sale of Warner's Budgens to The Midcounties Co-operative.
The awards bring together lawyers, accountants, bankers and financiers for a night of celebration to recognise the standout deals and dealmakers across the South West in the last 12-months.

In the twelve months to 31 December 2019, the team completed 205 deals valued at £1.012 billion. It was the first time we had burst through the £1 billion barrier and was a great milestone for the team.
Our continuing success is largely due to our reputation for providing a bespoke, professional, partner-led service. Although we are currently working in uncertain times, we expect the appetite for UK mergers and acquisitions to remain positive.”
