Hazlewoods Financial Planning team, who are specialists in investments, pensions and financial advice, are currently celebrating being announced in the top 40 of the Financial Times FTAdviser’s 2020 Top 100 Financial Advisers list.
The team are pleased that with a strong performance over the last 12 months, especially throughout the pandemic, they remain in the top 40, representing the smaller firms in the higher part of the list after competing against large national organisations such as Tavistock Group, Tenet and Wren Sterling.
In the second year of new assessment criteria, the FTAdviser rankings now ensure that a wide variety of factors that are important to people who may be looking for financial advice are assessed, rather than purely assets under management. In the past, the rankings had favoured the larger firms; whereas they now give an all-round perspective, recognising organisations who provide excellent service and advice across the board.
The criteria for the top 100 ranking included growth rate, experience of advisers across economic and interest-rate environments, qualifications and consideration of how each firm’s choices influenced asset growth over the year.
