We are pleased to announce that Hazlewoods Health and Care team has been awarded Corporate Financier of the year at the prestigious Laing & Buisson Independent Healthcare Awards. Over 500 guests attended the awards ceremony hosted by Gyles Brandreth at the London Marriott Hotel in Grosvenor Square on 20 September.
Laing & Buisson is the UK’s foremost and most highly regarded provider of information and market intelligence on the independent health, community care and childcare sectors.
The Independent Healthcare Awards, now in their 6th year, were established to highlight a range of achievements within the independent health and care sector and to pay tribute to those teams that have demonstrated excellence in their particular fields. The Hazlewoods Health and Care team beat off strong competition from a number of International accounting and advisory firms to win the accolade. The team were in good company, with winners including, amongst others, BUPA, Spire Healthcare and Knight Frank.
Hazlewoods Health and Care team have specialised in the sector for over 25 years and this award demonstrates their commitment in providing high quality advice to operators and investors on corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, accounting, tax and business strategy.
Andrew Brookes receiving the award said:

In 2010 we dealt with 52 completed transactions across the social care spectrum, with the team travelling the length and breadth of the UK.”
