The last six months have been extremely challenging for companies and Hazlewoods knew early in the pandemic that they needed to help.
As business advisers and chartered accountants, Hazlewoods set up a communication campaign called #BusinessforTomorrow, to provide thought-provoking content that would help leaders to focus on what was important in their businesses both now and in the future.
The initiative delivered free cash flow templates, check lists and over 200 bespoke advisory led articles to tens of thousands of people.
This effort has resulted in Hazlewoods being shortlisted for The Digital Accountancy Awards 2020 in the category of ‘Thought Leadership Initiative of the Year’.
The campaign reached its peak with the release of the #BusinessforTomorrow magazine, which brought together a range of content, packed with real-life case studies telling a very human story and painted a picture of all the highs and lows.
Emma Shorrock, who heads up the Hazlewoods marketing team, explained:
“As these are international awards, we are thrilled to be shortlisted and for the recognition of providing communication at a time when businesses needed it.
“By thinking about what business will be like tomorrow, the next day and so on, we can all adapt.
“With our 100-year history, this was not the first time we had supported businesses, and our teams stepped up to provide the content and advice, which we are very proud of.”
The virtual awards will take place on Wednesday 30 September. To find out more about the #BusinessforTomorrow campaign, read the magazine here.
