Hazlewoods trainees 2020

Published: Wednesday 30 September 2020

People are at the heart of everything we do at Hazlewoods and this month we have welcomed a host of new joiners, from graduate trainees and apprentices through to experienced employees across the business.

As the firm continues to advise businesses throughout these changeable times, we are pleased to announce the start of new careers for 26 trainees. Successful A-level students are embarking on a two-year AAT Apprenticeship, whilst our graduates will study and train for three years to gain the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales qualification.

With positions in audit, tax or accountancy and business advisory, our trainee programme and apprenticeships offer professional on the job training combined with first class study support from our study partner, laying the foundations for a career in accountancy and to become our next generation of trusted advisers.  We look forward to seeing the new trainees progress with us.

HR Director, Sue Golding said: “Our trainees are at the foundations of our firm and they will start to develop relationships built on credibility and trust with clients across a range of sectors.  Working with our clients, they quickly learn how to provide business and the financial advice they need to grow and make the right decisions about the future.  Indeed, 15 of the current 30 partners originally trained with Hazlewoods so the opportunities to progress are excellent.”

If you are looking for support in growing your team, please contact one of our business advisers, or catch up on further detail on the apprenticeship scheme and kickstart scheme which may help to fund new talent for your business.
