Today, we are coming together with organisations from across the globe to celebrate #HLBCommunitesDay, an annual world-wide initiative to support and give back to local communities.
As a independent member of HLB, the dynamic network of professional accounting firms and business advisers, we are supporting #HLBCommunitiesDay this year by donating to the local Cheltenham Foodbank.
The Cheltenham Foodbank is part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK. They provide nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people, and over 90% of the food distributed by foodbanks in The Trussell Trust network is donated by the public, meaning they rely on everyone’s good will and support.
Over the past couple of weeks, we have received many donations, as well as some of the reasons why #Hazlewoodspeople are giving back to their community...
