Budget 2013 - Offshore evasion strategy announced

The overseas aspects of tax evasion and avoidance are not forgotten.  HMRC continues its development of its information sharing network, adding Guernsey and Jersey to the list. Disclosure facilities are being put in place with effect from 6 April 2013 to 30 September 2016 between the UK and the two jurisdictions, joining the recent Isle of Man agreement.  It is estimated to bring in an additional £1billion.
