Support when renting private or social accommodation

Evictions from private or social accommodation have been banned for at least three months.

In line with this emergency legislation from the government, landlords will also be able to request a three-month mortgage holiday on buy-to-let properties where tenants have been impacted financially by the coronavirus.

Beyond this period, landlords and tenants are expected to work together to agree a suitable repayment plan.
