| At the end of March 2012 we co-hosted a Veterinary Retirement Workshop in Guildford with Charles Russell Solicitors. Together we looked at the the financial and legal issues that arise from when you retire from your practice. We were delighted to be joined by guest speaker Richard Rowe, former owner of Rowe Veterinary Group, who shared his honest and informative experiences of retiring from his practice. During the course of the day, we looked at:

- how to value your practice
- tax planning & mitigation for retirement
- practical steps for a smooth transaction.
