Ownership of a Gloucestershire construction firm has changed hands for the first time in 40 years, thanks to a deal which has secured the future of the business.
Hazlewoods Corporate Finance team has advised Central Cladding Systems Ltd on the successful sale of the company to its management team.
Founded by brothers Ross and Nick Gowell in 1982, Central Cladding specialises in the design, supply, and installation of all types of commercial roofing and cladding systems.
The company works with numerous blue chip construction companies has been responsible for multiple high profile local projects including:
- Regeneration of Gloucester town centre (Kings Quarter);
- University of Gloucester media centre;
- A collection of secondary and primary schools in Gloucestershire: Oxstalls, Pates, Brockworth, Cleeve, Betteridge, Longford, Coopers Edge, and Watermoor to name but a few;
- Several high-tech offices at Gloucester Business Park.
- Numerous car dealerships including Porsche Tewkesbury and Porsche Swindon.
- New sports stadia, for Worcester Warriors and Gloucester RFC.
- Regeneration of Gloucester, Cheltenham and Forest of Dean hospitals.
Central Cladding is now owned by Ryan Dunn and Mark Phillips who have been directors of the company for a decade.
They are determined to uphold the standards laid down by the Gowell family and ensure that the loyal and skilled tradesmen employed by the Company continue to be valued.
