With over 400 entries submitted this year, we’re proud that our specialist expertise of over 30 years in the health and social care sector has been recognised on the back of an impressive 2024 for our dedicated corporate finance experts.
The sub-sector focus in our Healthcare team currently spans elderly care, children’s services, supported living, domiciliary care, SEND, day nurseries, fostering, dentistry, pharmacy, veterinary, white coat services, and health tech.
Whether operating, acquiring or selling a business, we’re in a strong position to support independent providers, corporate groups and investors, whilst advising on ‘best practice’ through knowledge sharing across our broad client and contact base.
In 2024, our Corporate Finance team of 50 specialists completed 73 health and social care M&A transactions, a combined value of £754 million – a 23% increase in deal volume on 2023, with individual deal value reaching up to £150 million.
Momentum has continued into 2025: in the first half we’ve completed 50 transactions, already a 53% increase on the same period in 2024, totalling over £340+ million – a 33% uplift.
Our growing national reach has also been recently recognised in Experian MarketIQ’s H12025 report, where we’ve been named a Top 5 UK Financial Adviser based on deal volume, with Top 3 positions in the South West, South East, East of England, and the North West, as well as Top 10 rankings in London, Wales and the Midlands.
