Hazlewoods, a leading accountancy and business advisory firm, has strengthened its growing Bristol office with the appointment of Tom Edwards as Director in its Transaction Services team.
Bringing with him over 14 years’ experience with Big Four firms, most recently at Deloitte in Bristol, Tom’s appointment demonstrates Hazlewoods’ continued commitment to reinforcing its presence in the region’s thriving corporate finance market.
As well as Tom’s appointment, the full-service Bristol team is significantly increasing its office space in the city. It is only a few months since Hazlewoods made the strategic decision to move to its new offices in Bull Wharf, the heart of Bristol’s business district. As a result of attracting new talent and clients, the firm has recently made the commitment to more than double the space it occupies in Bull Wharf by moving within the building to accommodate its growing team.
Tom said: “Hazlewoods is clearly on a strong path and I’m excited to be joining one of the largest independent professional services firms in the South West, with a well-established and highly regarded Corporate Finance team.
“In my new role, I’ll be helping to expand our presence in Bristol, further building our Transaction Services team, and continuing to provide transaction support on mid and lower-mid market deals.”
