July 2021 saw the return of the annual Hartpury Festivals after a year away due to COVID-19. The three events welcomed world class riders together for the NAF Five Star Festival of Dressage, Summer Showjumping Spectacular and International Horse Trials.
Hazlewoods were proud to sponsor three classes over the course of the summer events. The events were popular and hotly contested, as ever, with the winners proudly taking away a Hazlewoods rug as part of their prize:
Fiona Bigwood had great success in the Festival of Dressage grand prix on Friday 9 July with Hawtins Delicato.
The Summer Showjumping saw Gail Burchmore and Jakarta VD Hunters take the top prize in the 1.30m Open on Friday 23 July.
The International Horse Trials saw Ibble Watson and Candito (2*), Gubby Leech and Royal Harvest (3*), and Nicola Wilson and JL Dublin (4*) triumph in their respective classes on Saturday 14 August.
Huge congratulations to the winners of each class, especially the Hazlewoods sponsored classes and all other riders who took part. We are always delighted to be associated with the Hartpury Festivals and look forward to their full return in summer 2022.
