Work History

Following university, I became a qualified accountant in 1997 and after moving to Hazlewoods in 2006, a Chartered Tax Advisor a year later; figuring a ten-year break from exams was about enough time to recover.

Since then, I have focussed on private client services, advising individuals, family businesses and trustees on all areas of taxation. I have a particular interest in cross-border personal taxation, regularly advising internationally mobile individuals of all nationalities, be it those looking to move abroad, relocate to the UK or returning “ex-pats”. This extends to advising businesses expanding into other territories, who need to understand the impact on their workforce.

Working with our associates within our network; HLB International, we can seamlessly provide advice for those individuals, trustees or businesses who have interests in multiple jurisdictions, to provide joined up advice on taxation, accountancy and business structuring matters.

Hobbies & Interests

Outside of work, I try to keep fit, listen to music, play guitar badly, spend time with my family and friends, and otherwise take things easy.
