I joined the Hazlewoods Farms and Estates team in October 2019 after training at a regional agricultural firm in the South West. I manage a portfolio of commercial farming businesses providing accounts, tax and general business advice. I advise on all areas of tax planning but have a particular interest in succession planning and business structure with a focus on incorporation. Having grown up on my family beef and sheep farm in Somerset I have a real understanding of how farming can bring family dynamics and business together which is invaluable when helping clients move forwards.
Hobbies & Interests
Outside of work you will find me getting stuck in on the family farm at home, anything from picking fat lambs to TB testing. I have a real interest for showing commercial cattle throughout the winter and have started my own herd of pedigree limousins, something I am really passionate about. At the weekend I do enjoy hiking but only providing I can plan a suitable ‘stop off’ at our local ‘Beer Shed’ for a pint to round the week off!
