My department
I have been in practice for over 30 years, qualifying as an Accounting Technician in 1989 and a Chartered Tax Advisor in 1995. During my career, I have gained experience across a number of different business sectors, but for the last 10 years my focus has been in the rural sector covering farming, landed estates and equestrian businesses. Due to the sector knowledge and experience I have gathered, I am able to provide pro-active, practical advice and solutions covering business structuring and income and capital tax planning.
My hobbies & interests
My time outside of work is mainly taken up by my family and our love for horses. Having been a keen amateur show jumper in my time, I now defer to the younger generations. My daughters both competed successfully at national level and my granddaughter already has her first pony. When I am not on the end of a lead rope or pitch fork, I like to spend time ballroom dancing, which I thoroughly enjoy, even though I am no expert!
