I joined Hazlewoods in 2007 as a newly qualified Chartered Tax Adviser and have been in the Farms and Estate team ever since. I deal with the tax affairs of farming businesses, larger landed estates and landowners, with an emphasis on offering specialist inheritance tax and capital gains tax planning solutions. I have been involved in early dicussions on the tax implications of envoirmonmetal land mangement schemes and in particlur BNG. I grew up on my parents’ dairy farm and continue to be invovled with matters there, meaning I have a first hand understanding of the factors affecting family farming businesses and rural property matters.
Hobbies & Interests
Outside of the office you can find me on the family farm, partaking in whatever is going on there, and spending time with my family. I am also the treasurer of the local Scouts group and keen supporter of my two children’s football and cricket teams, which takes me all around Herefordshire at the weekends.
