Providing an end-to-end service across growth funding, acquisitions, financial and tax due diligence, exit planning, and sale, it’s been a significant year of M&A activity for our Corporate Finance team, who supported 142 completed transactions in 2025 worth a combined value of over £1.3 billion.
20 of these deals – including financing/refinancing, acquisitions, and disposals – were in the education sector, a 33% uplift on 2024 deal activity, totalling more than £305 million, a 38% uplift on 2024 combined value.
The success was solidified in Experian MarketIQ’s M&A Report for 2025, where Hazlewoods were named the fourth most active UK financial adviser based on deal volume, with Top 3, 5 and 10 rankings reflected across the nation.
