Hazlewoods employees, along with their friends and families, enjoyed their annual summer party on Friday 13 July 2018. The party was hosted in the gardens of our Staverton office, where we enjoyed a hog roast, ice creams and drinks; despite the weather’s best attempts to dampen the occasion, the sun made an appearance which made for a lovely evening.
There was also a variety of activities based on a traditional summer fete, from splat the rat to welly wanging! Face painting and soak the Partners was a huge success with the children as well as the adults. We also held our own Hazlewoods bake off as a further fundraiser for our charity of the year.
The summer party raised £188 in aid of our chosen charity, Maggie’s. The charity provides free practical, emotional and social support to people with cancer and their families and friends. Over the next 12 months our staff are aiming to raise as much money as possible for Maggie’s, participating in a variety of fundraising events, including dress down days, quizzes, sporting events and much more.
