There was little in the way of VAT announcements in the Chancellor’s 2022 Autumn Statement.

In fact, the only VAT related measure in the publications following Jeremy Hunt’s speech was to confirm that the registration threshold of £85,000 would be frozen for a further two years up until 31 March 2026. 

Similarly, the VAT deregistration threshold of £83,000 will be maintained for the same period.
