Hazlewoods assist in the sale of Deep3

Hazlewoods is pleased to announce that they have recently assisted Deep3 on its sale to American giant, CACI, as part of a $105 million deal.

CACI Ltd, announced the move when they revealed their first quarter results.

Established in 2014, Cheltenham based Deep3 are experts in delivering mission critical software in complex operational environments.

They provide a wide range of solutions from cloud development and data engineering to secure by design application and digital transformation services. Clients include those in the national security sector along with law enforcement and defence.

Over the last three years Hazlewoods has assisted the company with its accounts and tax requirements, including research and development tax incentives, design and implementation of a bespoke management information reporting system, regulatory compliance regarding employment tax matters and employee share rewards.

This advice has helped the company to grow and to become an attractive acquisition for a key player in the market.

During the transaction Hazlewoods tax team advised the company and the shareholders on the tax issues on the disposal which were key to help achieve its sale at a high multiple.
