Hazlewoods Corporate Finance team has consolidated its position as a top 10 UK adviser, with the latest half-year Experian Mergers and Acquisitions report for 2021 placing them as eighth most active adviser in the national rankings.
It puts Hazlewoods in the top 10 in the South West, London, South East and East of England, strengthening the team's position in the market.
Hazlewoods experienced a surge in activity in the first half of 2021, with the value of completed transactions up 17.6% on the previous year. By June, the Corporate Finance team had completed 67 transactions with a total value of £422 million.
According to the Experian M&A report, the South West market is particularly buoyant as, "nearly all sectors, with the exception of hospitality, registered strong performance in volume, and exceptionally high valuations, which must be welcome news to all businesses after the last 18 months."
